| I am looking into buying a twin disc clutch and am wondering which twin disc out there is the strongest and the most streetable. I am looking at buying the RPS carbon carbon as I have heard these are very streetable. Does the aluminum pressure plate cause any issues? Why not use steel? Does the aluminum expand and contract leading to unreliable performance? Also has anyone used the z1 twin disc clutch? This clutch being as cheap as it is in comparison to other twin disc clutches make me wonder about the quality. Basically I would like a clutch to hold 600whp reliably while being very streetable, (no reving to go from a stop, no hard shifts, no hard pedal, no shuttering/bucking when creeping at slow speeds). I have heard that a twin disc is the way to go. Now it is to select which twin disc suites my needs the best.
I know some twin discs can be noisy, but I am more concerned about the above characteristics than noise. I am sure my exhaust will drown out any noise.
